What is the use of BSOX GEL?
BSOX GEL is used to treat and prevent stomach ulcers, acidity and heartburn. It can also be used to treat inflammation of gut caused due to other reasons apart from ulcer (such as H. pylori infection).
How BSOX GEL works in my body?
BSOX GEL forms a protective layer over the ulcer lesions. This reduces the exacerbation of ulcer by preventing the content of stomach acid and other irritants with the ulcer tissues. It also reduces pain sensation from the inflamed gut tissues, thereby reducing the unpleasant symptoms of stomach ulcer, acidity and heartburn.
Can the use of BSOX GEL cause constipation?
The most common side effect of taking BSOX GEL is constipation. To manage this side effects, eat plenty of fiber-rich foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables and cereals. Drink plenty of water. Exercise more regularly. Consult your doctor if this side effect troubles you.
Can I drink water after taking BSOX GEL?
Avoid drinking plenty of water after taking BSOX GEL as it may reduce the effects of BSOX GEL. However, you can sip few drinks of water if needed.
Can I consume alcohol while taking BSOX GEL?
Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking BSOX GEL as it may worsen your existing condition and delays the healing of ulcers.
What is the best time to take BSOX GEL?
BSOX GEL should be taken at least 1 hour before meals or at bedtime. However, consult your doctor for advice.
What to do if I forgot to take a dose of BSOX GEL?
If you have missed a dose of BSOX GEL, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose of BSOX GEL, skip the missed dose and take the next one regularly. Do not take a double dose of BSOX GEL to compensate the missed ones.
Can I take BSOX GEL daily?

BSOX GEL is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney problems and in patients having blockage or obstruction in the gut or delayed gastric emptying. It is also not recommended for use in pregnant women and in children aged below 14 years unless prescribed by a physician.
