What is BIOLAC Capsule used for?

BIOLAC Capsule is a supplement used for the prevention and treatment of constipation, diarrhoea and high cholesterol levels. BIOLAC Capsule is used to improve the immune system of the body. It is also used to prevent abdominal cramps and gas caused due to the use of antibiotics.

BIOLAC Capsule may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How to use BIOLAC Capsule?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Use BIOLAC Capsule as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Swallow the capsule/tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the capsule/tablet. Take BIOLAC Capsule with or without food.
  • Empty the contents of the sachet into half a glass of water. Shake well to ensure that the powder is fully dissolved.
  • For syrup dosage form, measure the prescribed amount of BIOLAC Capsule liquid before taking each dose. Shake well before use.

If you miss a dose of BIOLAC Capsule, please use it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
