What ARIGABA 400MG is used for?

It is used to treat,

  • Pain due to damaged nerves (neuropathic pain)
  • Partial seizures in adults and children 3 years of age and older

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to gabapentin or any of the other ingredients in ARIGABA 400MG
  • have kidney problems
  • have depression, mood problems, suicidal thoughts or behavior
  • have diabetes
  • If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breast feeding, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine
  • ARIGABA 400MG can pass into breast milk
  • Do not take this medicine during breast-feeding
  • This medicine is not for use in children below 3 years of age
  • ARIGABA 400MG can slow your thinking and motor skills
  • Do not drive, operate heavy machinery, until you know how ARIGABA 400MG affects you

Tell your doctor if you are taking:

  • medicines for convulsions, sleeping disorders, depression, anxiety, or any other neurological or psychiatric problems
  • medicines containing opioids (such as morphine)
  • antacids containing aluminium and magnesium used to treat ulcer
  • Always take this medicine exactly as told by your doctor
  • Take this medicine with a glass of water
  • It can be taken before or after food

If you take more ARIGABA 400MG

  • If you take too much ARIGABA 400MG, call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital

If you forget to take ARIGABA 400MG

  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember
  • If it is close to your next dose, do not take the missed dose
  • Just take the next dose at your regular time

If you stop taking ARIGABA 400MG

  • Do not stop taking ARIGABA 400MG without first talking your doctor
  • Stopping ARIGABA 400MG suddenly can cause serious problems

  • feeling agitated or restless
  • panic attacks
  • trouble sleeping (insomnia)

  • acting aggressive, being angry, or violent
  • acting on dangerous impulses
  • an extreme increase in activity and talking (mania)
  • other unusual changes in behavior or mood
  • lack of coordination
  • feeling tired
  • viral infection
  • fever
  • feeling drowsy
  • jerky movements
  • nausea and vomiting
  • difficulty with coordination
  • difficulty in speaking
  • double vision
  • tremor
  • unusual eye movement
  • swelling, usually of legs and feet
