    Introduction About ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION contains oseltamivir, which belongs to the group of medicines called antivirals. It is used in adults, adolescents, children, and infants (including full-term new-born babies) for the management of flu (influenza) and also as management management in exceptional circumstances, such as if there is a global flu pandemic and the seasonal flu vaccine may not provide sufficient protection.

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION can be used when you have flu symptoms, and the flu virus is known to be spreading in your community. It can also be used to manage flu in adults, adolescents, children, and infants above 1 year of age, but only if you have been in contact with someone affected by flu.

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION should be taken with caution in patients with kidney problems, long-term lung disease, or heart disease. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION should be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is considered clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION should be used with caution in children from 1 to 12 years and infants less than 1 year. It should be used with caution in elderly patients (above 65 years of age). Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

The most common side effects of taking ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION are headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach ache, stomach upset, and pain. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse.

    Uses Of ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION

    • Manages flu (influenza) symptoms in adults, adolescents, children, and infants (including full-term new-born babies).
    • Prevents flu in adults, adolescents, children, and infants above 1 year of age.
    • Used as management management for adults, adolescents, children, and infants (including full-term new-born babies) in a flu pandemic.

    How ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION Works

ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION manages the spread of the flu virus inside the body by blocking the action of chemicals required for the survival of the virus. This helps to ease or manage the symptoms of the flu virus infection.

How to use ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION

Take ANTIFLU ORAL SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Take it with food to reduce the chance of nausea and vomiting. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight, and the severity of the infection.
