Abstract: Respiratory tract infections are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. A study of 100 RTI prescriptions assessed rational prescribing patterns using WHO indicators. Findings revealed a high rate of antibiotic and brand-name drug prescriptions, with 75.86% adherence to the National Essential Drugs List. Rational prescribing was generally observed.
