- Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the feed
- Sterilize the feeding bowl, feeding spoon, and water measuring cup by boiling in water for 10 minutes
- Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and leave it till lukewarm
- Using the water measuring cup provided with the pack, pour the correct amount of the lukewarm water as per the feeding table
- Check feeding table and add into the feeding bowl the exact number of scoops, leveled off, according to the age of the infant
- Use only the scoop provided in the pack
- Stir well till the powder dissolves
- On opening this pack, the contents along with the laminate pouch should immediately be transferred to an empty, clean, dry, and airtight container
- Replace the lid tightly after each use and store in a cool dry place
- After opening use the contents within 3 weeks or the expiry date whichever is earlier
- The scoop and water measuring cup provided with the cap should be thoroughly washed and dried before use
- Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitute is most essential for health
- Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant
- Do not use fewer scoops than directed, since diluted feeds will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infants
- Prepare only one feed at a time
- Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise, microbial deterioration may set in
- Discard unused feed
- Infant milk substitute should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use
