Sweating is body’s natural response to heat, workouts and even stress. It cools down the body, regulates body temperature and protects body from heat stroke.

And if you are suffering from sweaty scalp, it’s time to avoid heat, eating spicy food and stress, as it can make your hair oily.

Bad hair days are quite common in summer and it is important to wash hair regularly to avoid hair fall, split ends.

Lemon And Coconut Water:

Ingredients:

1 tsp lemon juice

½ cup coconut water

Method:

Mix lemon juice with coconut water.

Massage it on the scalp gently and allow it to dry for 20 minutes.

Wash it with plain water.

How It Works:

Lemon juice rich in vitamin C and has anti-fungal properties. It controls secretion from sweat and sebum glands while coconut water adds strength and natural glow to the hair. It is also a best remedy to fight dandruff in summer months.

Egg and Yogurt:

1 egg

1 tsp sour curd

Method:

Beat egg and curd in a bowl, until it turns into a paste.

Apply it on the scalp and allow it to dry for 30 minutes.

Wash it with plain water and rinse hair with mild shampoo and conditioner.

How It Works:

Eggs are rich in protein that can leave your hair smooth and glowing. Curd is a natural conditioner and cleans away dead skin cells and helps in restoring the glow.

Henna and Methi:

Ingredients:

3 tsp of henna powder

1 tsp freshly ground fenugreek powder

Method:

Mix henna powder with fenugreek powder into a thick paste.

Apply it on the scalp and let it rest for 1 hour.

Wash it with water, shampoo and conditioner.
