How Ofloxacin+Racecadotril works

Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills the susceptible bacteria that causes gut infection. Racecadotril is an antidiarrheal medicine. It reduces hypersecretion of water and electrolytes within the intestines. This reduces fluid loss from the body in the form of diarrhoea. Collectively, they help in treating acute infectious diarrhea.

• Ofloxacin and Racecadotril must be taken for the stipulated duration as instructed by your doctor to achieve better results. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control
