Introduction About SHELGAIN PLUS TABLET
Shelgain Plus Tablet is a dietary supplement used for the management of calcium and vitamin D deficiency states such as during pregnancy, lactation and in growing children. It contains Calcium citrate maleate, vitamin D3, and folic acid as active ingredients.
Calcium citrate provides calcium which is necessary for normal functioning of nerve cells, muscle and bones. Vitamin D3 helps to absorb calcium and phosphorus from the gut and helps in building and maintenance of strong bones. Folic acid helps in the production of red blood cells and also manages brain and spinal cord birth defects in pregnancy.
Take Shelgain Plus Tablet as advised by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the tablet. Take 2 tablets twice daily or as directed by the doctor. Shelgain Plus Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with hypercalcaemia (high levels of calcium in blood), hypercalciuria (high levels of calcium in urine), hypervitaminosis D (high levels of vitamin D in blood) and severe kidney disease.
