Radant-KC Forte Cream is a skin lightening cream used for general fairness. It contains kojic acid, arbutin and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin C) as active ingredients that help even out the skin complexion.
Kojic acid reduces hyperpigmentation by inhibiting the production of free tyrosinase (enzyme that controls melanin production) and is also a potent antioxidant. Arbutin competitively inhibits tyrosinase activity and also inhibits melanosome maturation. Vitamin C inhibits melanin production by acting as a reducing agent at various oxidative steps of melanin formation.
