Introduction About PYRIKAP 250MG ORAL SUSPENSION
PYRIKAP 250 Oral suspension is an analgesic that is used to relieve mild to moderate pain in paediatric patients. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient to lower fever, common cold, or flu.
Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating, and loss of body heat.
Give PYRIKAP 250 Oral suspension as advised by your doctor. It is for oral use only. Shake well before use. Give it 3-4 times a day in children above 1 year of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. PYRIKAP 250 Oral suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems.
