OMNATAX CV SYRUP is a combination of Cefixime and Clavulanic Acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. How OMNATAX CV SYRUP Works
OMNATAX CV SYRUP is a powerful antibiotic. It contains two medicines namely, cefixime and clavulanic acid. Cefixime kills susceptible bacteria by blocking bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Clavulanic acid stops the bacteria from producing toxic proteins (such as beta-lactamases) that can reduce the effects of antibiotics. Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria, manage their further growth and multiplication which in turn reduces the severity of the infection.
