Introduction About EXKET SHAMPOO
Exket Shampoo is an antifungal agent used to manage fungal infections on scalp such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis (a dry or oily scaling of the scalp and other parts of the body) and tinea versicolor (superficial fungal skin infection). It contains ketoconazole as an active ingredient that helps in reducing the fungal infection.
Ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of certain essential components of the fungal cell membrane, resulting into increased cellular permeability that causes leaking of cellular contents. It also impairs various important biological processes inside the fungal cell body that are required for its survival, thus killing the fungal cell.
Always use Exket Shampoo as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. It is not recommended for use in infants and children. Do not use it more often than the doctor has advised you. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow Exket Shampoo.
