It is used in children to manage bacterial infections of the throat and upper part of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues, and the urinary tract. A bacterial infection can be defined as a proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria in the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue, or bones.
DROXYCAD 125MG TABLET must be taken with meals to avoid unwanted gastrointestinal side effects. Your doctor will decide the suitable dose for your child depending upon their age, body weight and severity of the infection.

- vaginal fungal infections or ‘thrush’

- unexplained bruising or bleeding, which may be due to reduced platelets.

- signs of infections (such as fever, general weakness, sore throat or mouth and problems in passing urine)

- signs of kidney problems (such as bloody or cloudy urine, scanty or no urine accompanied with lower back pain)
- inflammation of the colon (colitis) with bloody diarrhea
- severe skin reactions causing blistering of the skin, mouth, eyes, and genitals
- signs of low RBC count (such as yellow or pale skin, weakness, or breathlessness)
How To Manage Side Effects
Diarrhea
Make sure that your child drinks plenty to fluids, such as water or fruit juices to keep themselves hydrated. Consuming ORS can also be beneficial. Do not self-manage diarrhea on your own. Consult your doctor if your child experience severe diarrhea with blood stains.
Nausea And Vomiting
