Introduction About ACNOX 2.5% GEL(TOPICAL)
Acnox Gel 2.5 is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent used to topically manage mild to moderate non-inflammatory and inflammatory acne vulgaris in adults and adolescents above 12 years of age. It contains benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient that is an oxidizing agent having antibacterial properties and is classified as a keratolytic agent.
Benzoyl peroxide is an antibacterial agent that is believed to act by slowly releasing active oxygen. It also has some keratolytic effect, which inhibits the formation of blemishes that form when oil and skin cells become trapped in the pore, as well as exerts drying and peeling actions that contribute to its efficacy in acne.
Always apply Acnox Gel 2.5 as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Avoid contact with lips, eyes, eyelids and mucous membranes. When using it, avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Do not use it during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by the doctor. Stop using Acnox Gel 2.5 if severe irritation develops.
