What is ZINCOFER XT Tablet used for?

ZINCOFER XT Tablet is a cholesterol-lowering medication, which can help prevent heart attacks, strokes, and vascular diseases. It works by blocking the production of cholesterol in the body. ZINCOFER XT Tablet reduces bad cholesterol namely low-density lipoprotein. It belongs to a class of drugs referred to as statins.

How to take ZINCOFER XT Tablet?

The dosage of ZINCOFER XT Tablet prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Take ZINCOFER XT Tablet with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take ZINCOFER XT Tablet medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
