What ZEET is used for?

  • It is indicated for the treatment of acute allergic reactions

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have an overactive thyroid or enlarged prostate gland
  • have epilepsy
  • have raised blood pressure within the eye or glaucoma
  • have heart, liver or asthma diseases
  • It must not be given during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor tells it is essential
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • The dose will be calculated by the doctor, according to the child’s age or body weight
  • Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine as it may cause drowsiness and sleepiness

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • drugs used to treat depression
  • medicines that treat anxiety or help you to sleep
  • psychotropic drugs (that change perception or behaviour)
  • atropine (used as eye drops to dilate the pupils, or given as an injection to treat low heart rate in emergencies)
  • phenytoin (used to treat epilepsy)
  • This medicine is usually given to you by your doctor
  • It is given beneath your skin, into a muscle, or directly into a vein

If you receive more ZEET

  • This medicine will be given to you under medical supervision. It is therefore unlikely that you will be given too much. However, if you feel unwell, tell your doctor immediately
  • Symptoms of overdose: sedation, seizures, stopping of breathing (apnoea), convulsions, abnormal and sustained muscle contractions (dystonic reactions) and heart failure (cardiovascular collapse)

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
