What WINOLAP is used for?

  • WINOLAP is used to relief the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 6 years of age and older

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic (hypersensitive) to Olopatadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have epistaxis and nasal ulceration
  • have nasal septal perforation
  • WINOLAP should be used in pregnant women only if the potential benefit to the mother justifies the potential risk to the embryo or fetus
  • Ask your doctor before using WINOLAP if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breast feeding
  • The safety and effectiveness of WINOLAP has not been established for patients under 6 years of age
  • Avoid engaging in hazardous occupations requiring complete mental alertness and coordination such as driving or operating machinery when taking WINOLAP
  • Please tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription
  • Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • WINOLAP should be administered intranasal route only

For Adults and Adolescents 12 years of age and older:

  • The recommended dosage is two sprays per nostril twice daily

For Children 6 to 11 years of age:

  • The recommended dosage is one spray per nostril twice daily
  • WINOLAP should not been used for more than 7 days, re-prime by releasing 2 sprays
  • Avoid spraying WINOLAP into the eyes

If you use more WINOLAP

  • If you have taken more WINOLAP than you should, talk to your doctor or local hospital accident and emergency department
  • symptoms of overdosage are drowsiness in adults and, initially, agitation and restlessness, drowsiness

If you forgot to use WINOLAP

  • Do not spray a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses. If you have forgotten to take your WINOLAP, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is due within 2 hours, take the dose now and skip the next one

If you stop using WINOLAP

  • Do not stop using WINOLAP until the doctor has told you to do so

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.


  • epistaxis and nasal ulcerations
  • a bitter taste in the mouth, nosebleeds
  • headache
  • pharyngolaryngeal pain
  • cough

  • Protect from excess heat and light
  • Keep this medicine out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
