INTRODUCTION

WET-COMOD EYE DROPS contains povidone-iodine, which belongs to the group of medicines called antiseptics and disinfectants. It is used in adults and children to relieve eye strain, burning or dryness of the eye.

Povidone iodine protects the eyes against the feeling of dryness, fatigue, and eye irritations by forming a smooth, stable, lubricating coating on the eye surface that can be caused due to excessive eye strain due to various activities.

Do not wear contact lenses during medicine application and is recommended to wait around 30 minutes after putting on contact lenses before using WET-COMOD EYE DROPS.  WET-COMOD EYE DROPS should be used with caution in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

The common side effects of using WET-COMOD EYE DROPS may include burning sensation, tearing, temporary blurred vision, foreign body sensation, itching, swelling in eyelids or face, pain, inflammation, irritation etc in some individuals. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms get worse or persist.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Burning sensation of the eye:

Wash your eyes in cool water for 10-15 minutes. warm compress eyes by soaking a clean, soft washcloth in warm water and then placing it over the eye. Consult your doctor immediately if your symptom gets worse or persist.

Itching and irritation in the eyes:

Apply a warm or cold compress. Try to keep the eye area clean. Do not rub inside the eyes. Avoid using contact lenses and eye cosmetics till it subsides. Consult your doctor immediately if your symptom gets worse or persist.
