What is VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG?
- VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG contains Metformin and Voglibose which controls blood sugar levels with diabetes called ‘type 2 diabetes mellitus’
- VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals

Talk to your doctor before taking VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG, if you:
- are allergic to Metformin and Voglibose or to any of its ingredients
- have kidney or heart problems
- suffer from diabetic ketoacidosis
- drink a lot of alcohol
- have inflammatory bowel disease, colonic ulcerations or partial intestinal obstructions and patients being predisposed to intestinal obstruction
- have gastro-intestinal disorders
- Take VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG exactly as prescribed
- Your doctor will usually start you on a low dose and increase your dose slowly to control your blood sugar levels
- Do not change your dose unless told to do so by your doctor
- Swallow the tablets
- Never crush or chew the tablet
If you take more VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG
- If you take too much VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG or overdose, call your doctor right away
If you forget to take VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG
- If you miss a dose of VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG resume dosing according to schedule
If you stop taking VINGOSEMET 0.3/500MG
- Do not stop taking this tablet before consulting your doctor
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

- Metformin can cause a rare, but serious condition, called lactic acidosis where there is a buildup of an acid in the blood that can cause death
