VERZIO CREAM contains Ivermectin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiparasitic agents. It is used in adults (18 years or older) to treat pimples and spots on the skin found with rosacea. Rosacea is defined as a skin condition that causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also induce small and pus-filled bumps.
VERZIO CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying this medicine.
The safety and efficacy of VERZIO CREAM in children and adolescents (18 years or less) have not been established. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
The most common side effect of applying VERZIO CREAM is a burning feeling of the skin. Consult your doctor if the side effects worsen.
VERZIO CREAM has anti-inflammatory effect against rosacea and helps to kill the causative agent (demodex mites) improving clinical signs and symptoms in the skin.
Always apply VERZIO CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a pea-size amount of the medicine to each of the five areas of the face: forehead, chin, nose and each cheek. Then spread as a thin layer across the entire face. Wash your hands after applying this medicine. Avoid applying it around your eyes, lips and inside the nose and mouth. Your doctor will decide the dose, duration and frequency of treatment for you depending upon severity of the infection.
Itchy skin:
Avoid hot showers because hot water can irritate the skin. Do not scratch the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when going outdoors. Use moisturizers to relax and hydrate the affected skin area. Consult your doctor if itching worsens.
VERZIO CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before applying it.
VERZIO CREAM is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying it.
VERZIO CREAM has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
VERZIO CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Consult your doctor before applying it.
Do not use VERZIO CREAM if you are allergic to ivermectin or any other ingredients of this medicine.

A. Drug - Drug interactions:
Tell your doctor if you are applying or have recently taken any other medicines including medicines obtained without a prescription, vitamin supplement or herbal products.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally apply too much of VERZIO CREAM or ingest it, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.

If you forget to apply a dose of VERZIO CREAM, do not apply the medicine twice to make up for the forgotten dose. Apply the next dose and continue your treatment as usual.
Is VERZIO CREAM safe to use during pregnancy?
VERZIO CREAM is not recommended for use during pregnancy. So, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, before using it.
What should I keep in mind while using VERZIO CREAM?
VERZIO CREAM should be used by adults only on the skin of the face. Do not use it on any other parts of your body, especially eyelids, lips or inner parts of the nose or mouth. If you accidently apply it in these areas, immediately rinse it with a lot of water. Do not use cosmetics before application of VERZIO CREAM. Wash your hands after applying this medicine.
How long should I keep using VERZIO CREAM?
The duration of treatment varies from person to person and depends on the severity of skin disease. Your physician will decide how long you will need to use VERZIO CREAM and you may notice improvement after 4 weeks of treatment and discontinue VERZIO CREAM and contact your physician if there is no improvement after 3 months.
