What TYPHERIX is used for?

  • It helps to protect against typhoid fever (infectious disease)

Talk to your Doctor, if you or your child:

  • is allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • has blood disorder such as hemophilia
  • has a poor or reduced immune system
  • has HIV
  • have a high temperature
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • This medicine is not recommended to children less than 2 years of age
  • Your doctor will give you the right dose based on your child’s age and body weight
  • Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine it may cause tiredness

Tell your doctor, if you or your child are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

  • This medicine is usually given by a doctor or nurse
  • It is given as an injection into a muscle or deep under the skin, in the outer part of the upper arm or leg

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
