What is TYNEPT OD Tablet used for?

TYNEPT OD Tablet is used for the treatment of depression and anxiety.

TYNEPT OD Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

TYNEPT OD Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake enhancers (SSRE). This drug acts by enhancing the re-absorption of serotonin from neurons, which helps to enhance the chemical messengers in the brain. Thus, it helps in relieving depressive illnesses.

How to take TYNEPT OD Tablet?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take TYNEPT OD Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the whole tablet. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the drug on an empty stomach.

If you miss a dose of TYNEPT OD Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
