TUSSALYTE XP contains Ambroxol, Terbutaline and Guaiphenesin which belongs to a group of medicines called expectorants. It works by thinning the mucus in the air passages, liquefying and loosening thick mucus that can be coughed out easily, temporarily relieving minor pain, relaxing the muscles in the walls of the small airways in the lungs. It is indicated for the treatment of productive cough associated with bronchospasm in conditions such as bronchitis and bronchial asthma as well as all conditions associated with Bronchiectasis.
Always take TUSSALYTE XP exactly as directed by your doctor. Shake well before use. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your child’s age and body weight. Do not take this medicine, if you suffer from severe gastrointestinal disease.

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with TUSSALYTE XP.
