TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET is used to treat symptoms and prevent relapse in schizophrenia (serious mental disorder) which is also used as an adjunct in the short-term management of severe psychomotor agitation and used in the treatment of symptomatic control of all forms of Parkinson's disease (neurological disorder that affects movement).
Who should avoid taking TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET?
TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients who have blood disorders, planned for a special x-ray examination of the brain or spinal cord involving a chemical called metrizamide, have closed angle or a narrow angle glaucoma (eye disorder that cause blindness) or paralytic ileus (disorder that occurs due to temporary paralyzation of muscle contractions to move food through intestine), severe liver disease or heart failure.
What side effects are seen with TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET?
The most common side effects of taking TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET are drowsiness, dizziness, headache, blurred vision, dry mouth and constipation. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects get worse during or after treatment with TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET.
Is it safe to drive after taking TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET?
TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET might cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision. If you experience these side effects, try to avoid driving or operating heavy machines. Consult your doctor before taking TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET.
What happens if you take more TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET than your required dose?
If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Overdosage symptoms of TRIFLUXY 2.5MG TABLET low blood pressure, fast heart rate, high fever, restlessness, confusion, excitement and hallucinations passing into delirium.
