TRALIN 100MG contains Sertraline which belongs to a group of medicines called Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors. It is used to treat depression and or anxiety disorders. It works by increasing the levels of a mood-enhancing chemical called serotonin in the brain that stabilizes our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness.
Take TRALIN 100MG according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine whole, do not crush or chew. It can be taken with or without food. This medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents less than 18 years old, except for patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The common side effects are nausea, insomnia, headache and diarrhea. Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with this medicine. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have epilepsy, diabetes, liver, kidney and heart problems and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women. It should not be taken in combination with grapefruit juice, as this may increase the level of medicine in your body.

Nausea:
Stick to simple normal meals and do not eat rich or spicy foods.
Headache:
Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee.
Diarrhoea:
Drink lot of fluid, such as water or squash, to avoid dehydration. Do not take any other medicine without consulting your doctor.
TRALIN 100MG should be used with caution in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

It may affect ability to drive or operate machines.
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with TRALIN 100MG.

Do not take if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Sertraline.
