What is TOLPA D TABLET and why it is used?
TOLPA D TABLET is a combination of Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase which belongs to a group of medicines called Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and Proteolytic enzymes, which is generally indicated in adult patients to treat pain and inflammatory conditions.
How TOLPA D TABLET works?
TOLPA D TABLET provides relief from pain and inflammation in affected individuals where diclofenac works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers (responsible for pain and inflammation) in the brain and serratiopeptidase reduces inflammatory reaction by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation thus providing relief from inflammation and pain in affected individuals.
What are the most common side effects of taking TOLPA D TABLET?
The most common side effects of taking TOLPA D TABLET are headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
What happens if more dose of TOLPA D TABLET is taken than the required dose?
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of TOLPA D TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are headache, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, GI hemorrhage, diarrhea, dizziness, disorientation, excitation, coma, drowsiness, tinnitus, fainting, and/or convulsions.
Can TOLPA D TABLET be used during pregnancy?
No, TOLPA D TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women especially during third trimester stage. It is also not recommended for use in women planning for pregnancy. However, it can be used with caution during first and second trimester of pregnancy provided if it is clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
