HOW TIBOFEM WORKS

TIBOFEM is a selective estrogen activity regulator which catalyzes its effects on the bone, brain and vaginal tissues by its estrogenic activity. Following oral administration, tibolone is converted into three major metabolites called 3 alpha- hydroxy-tibolone, 3 beta-hydroxy-tibolone and Delta (4) -isomer. These metabolites, modulates cellular homeostasis in breast tissues, by preventing breast tissue proliferation and stimulating cell apoptosis. They also improve bone density and vaginal dryness.
