What TEROL LA is used for?

TEROL LA is a prescription medicine for adults used to treat the following symptoms due to a condition called overactive bladder:

  • having a strong need to urinate with leaking or wetting incidents (urge urinary incontinence)
  • having a strong need to urinate right away (urgency)
  • having to urinate often (frequency)

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • have any stomach or intestinal problems
  • have trouble emptying your bladder or you have a weak urine stream
  • have liver problems
  • have kidney problems
  • have a condition called myasthenia gravis
  • or any of your family members have a rare heart condition called QT prolongation
  • have trouble emptying your bladder (also called "urinary retention")
  • have stomach empties slowly (also called "gastric retention")
  • have an eye problem called "uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma"

  • Fesoterodine used to treat overactive bladder
  • Ketoconazole, itraconazole, miconazole used for fungal infections
  • Clarithromycin used for bacterial infections
  • Ritonavir, saquinavir, atazanavir used for treatment of HIV infection
  • Cyclosporine, vinblastine used to treat cancer

  • Swallow the whole with a glass of water
  • TEROL LA can be taken with or without food

If you take more TEROL LA

  • If you take more TEROL LA, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take TEROL LA

  • If you miss a dose of TEROL LA, begin taking TEROL LA again the next day. Do not take 2 doses of TEROL LA in the same day

If you stop taking TEROL LA

  • Always consult your doctor if you are thinking of stopping the treatment
