TERADERM CREAM contains Terbinafine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used topically to treat fungal skin infections.
TERADERM CREAM is for external use only. Take the required quantity of the medicine and apply on the affected skin areas. Use TERADERM CREAM for the stipulated duration instructed by your physician to achieve better results. Failing to do so may not result in adequate infection control. Also, inform your doctor if you don’t see any improvement in your condition after 2 weeks of therapy.
Do not use TERADERM CREAM if you are allergic to terbinafine. It is not suitable for use in children aged below 18 years. Consult your doctor before using TERADERM CREAM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of using TERADERM CREAM are skin peeling, itching, skin color changes and burning sensation at the side effects. These side effects are usually harmless. However, consult your doctor if they trouble you.

It disrupts the fungal cell membrane by blocking the production of certain chemicals (ergosterol) within the cell which is required for its survival. As a result, it stops the fungal cell from multiplication, thereby preventing the further spread of infection.

Stop using TERADERM CREAM and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Application Site Reactions:
Place an icepack on the affected skin areas to ease the irritation. Avoid using harsh chemicals or soaps on the affected areas. Wear protective loose-fitting clothes while going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. Avoid exposing your skin towards direct sunlight. If the condition did not improve, contact your doctor.
TERADERM CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless recommended by your physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.
TERADERM CREAM is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless recommended by your physician. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.
TERADERM CREAM is unlikely to affect your ability for driving or handling any heavy tools or machines.
Do not use TERADERM CREAM if you are allergic to Terbinafine.
Use in Paediatrics:
TERADERM CREAM is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Therefore, consult your doctor before application.
Use in Geriatrics:
TERADERM CREAM can be used with caution in elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.

Before using TERADERM CREAM, inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription, non-prescription and/or herbal supplements as a precaution.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally swallowed TERADERM CREAM, consult your doctor for advice or visit the nearby hospital. Signs of accidental ingestion might include headache, nausea, dizziness and stomach pain.
