Type II diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease associated with abnormally high levels of glucose in the blood due to inadequate production of a hormone called insulin (produced by the pancreas to metabolize glucose) or due to inadequate sensitivity of body cells to the actions of insulin.

TELITEN 20 TABLET lowers blood glucose levels by blocking the actions of an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase (DPP)-4 that regulates the secretion of insulin in the body. As a result, it improves insulin production and helps in the digestion of circulating blood glucose. It can also regulate blood sugar levels post-meal by controlling glucagon secretion.
