What is TEBIF Gel used for?

TEBIF Gel is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the fingernails or toenails. It is also used to treat ringworm, jock itch, and athlete's foot. This medicine works by stopping the growth of fungus. It is available in cream and tablet forms. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How to take TEBIF Gel?

The dosage of TEBIF Gel prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label. The following dosage information includes the common dose of TEBIF Gel. If your dose is different, do not follow the dosage described below unless your physician has approved.

Apply a thin film of TEBIF Gel cream onto the affected area.

TEBIF Gel tablet may be taken with or without food.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to use TEBIF Gel medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.

What are the drugs that interact with TEBIF Gel?

  • Fluconazole
  • Fluoxetine
