SUPERNIM contain nimesulide which belongs to a group of medicine called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used for symptomatic relief of pain associated with sprains and acute traumatic tendinitis. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the skin. Check the label for directions before use. For external use only. This medicine should not be allowed to come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact wash your eyes immediately with water. It should not be used with occlusive dressings.
This medicine is strictly not recommended for use in children under 12 years. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. The most common side effects are itching, erythema.

Itching:
Apply a cold, wet cloth, or ice pack on the itching area. Take an oatmeal bath. Moisturize your skin. Apply cooling agents such as menthol or calamine.
Erythema (skin redness):
Cold water helps to bring the redness down. Apply aloe vera and cucumber to ease the redness.
SUPERNIM is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary (last 3 months of pregnancy). Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
SUPERNIM is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
No studies on the effect of SUPERNIM on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
SUPERNIM should be used with caution in patients suffering from active kidney diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
SUPERNIM should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver function impairment or active liver diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not take SUPERNIM if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to nimesulide or any other ingredients in this medicine.
SUPERNIM is not recommended in patients with active lung diseases (bronchospasm). Before taking, discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
SUPERNIM should be used with caution in patients suffering from active heart diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
