STALROX 150 TABLET contains Roxithromycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat mild to moderately severe bacterial infections such as upper respiratory tract infections like acute pharyngitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, lower respiratory tract infections like acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis and acute bronchitis (inflammation of bronchial tube with thick mucus and breathing difficulties, community acquired pneumonia (lung infection acquired outside the hospital), skin and soft issues infections, impetigo (contagious skin infections with red sores around the face, mouth and nose), non gonococcal urethritis (inflammation of urinary tube causing pain and burning sensation while urinating), acute pharyngitis, and tonsillitis (inflammation of tonsils or pharynx with sore throat and pain during swallowing).
Prior to the treatment with STALROX 150 TABLET, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition.
STALROX 150 TABLET is not recommended for patients having severely impaired liver function. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
It should be used with caution among patients with impaired kidney function and heart disease like congenital prolonged QT interval. Consult your doctor before taking STALROX 150 TABLET.

Diarrhea:

Stick to simple meals. Try to avoid oil rich or spicy foods, sugary snacks, and drinks. Try to drink liquid slowly along with your meals, or in between meals. Consult your doctor if your symptom is not improving.
Headache:
Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Try to take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee. Massage on scalp or head with mild pressure. Consult your doctor for advice.
Stomach pain:
Try to rest and relax. Try to have smaller and frequent meals. Keep a heat pad on your stomach. Take your physician’s advice.

STALROX 150 TABLET should be taken with caution in patients having heart disease like congenital prolonged QT interval. Consult your doctor before taking STALROX 150 TABLET.
Use in pediatrics:
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for your child depending upon the child’s age, body weight and severity of infection. Consult your doctor before giving STALROX 150 TABLET to your child.
Use in geriatrics:
