What SPARQUIN 100MG is used for?

  • SPARQUIN 100MG is used to treat lung infections caused by bacteria
  • It kills the bacteria that can infect the breathing airways and lungs

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have ever had severe sunburn
  • have congenital prolongation of the QT interval
  • have heart rhythm disturbances
  • have low potassium
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • SPARQUIN 100MG is not recommended for children and adolescents
  • You should be careful about driving or operating machinery until you are sure this medicine is not causing dizziness

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • quinidine, procainamide, amiodarone and sotalol (used to treat an abnormal heartbeat)
  • cisapride (used to treat gastric-emptying disorders)
  • erythromycin (used to treat infections)
  • antidepressants (used to treat depression)
  • antipsychotic drugs (used to treat psychosis)
  • antacids, sucralfate (used to treat acidity)
  • sucralfate (used to treat duodenal ulcer)
  • multivitamins
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • It may be taken with or without food, with a full glass of water, preferably at the same time each day

If you take more SPARQUIN 100MG

  • If you accidentally take more SPARQUIN 100MG than your doctor recommended, contact your doctor at once or contact the nearest hospital for advice

If you forget to take SPARQUIN 100MG

  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Don't take a double dose to make up for a missed dose

If you stop taking SPARQUIN 100MG

  • Do not stop taking SPARQUIN 100MG unless your doctor told you to stop

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
