INTRODUCTION

SOLITEN 5MG contains Solifenacin which belongs to the group of medicines called anticholinergics. It is used to treat the symptoms of a urological condition called as overactive bladder. Overactive bladder, also called as OAB is a type of bladder problem which causes a frequent and sudden urge to urinate that may be difficult to control.

Solifenacin effectively reduces the activity of an overactive bladder and enables you to wait longer before you go to the bathroom. It can also increase the amount of urine that can be held by your bladder. Prior to the treatment, your doctor may assess for the presence of any other conditions which can cause urgent need to urinate like heart failure or kidney disease.

SOLITEN 5MG can be taken with or without food. The most common side effects of this medicine are blurred vision, constipation, indigestion, stomach pain or dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms troubles you. Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. This medicine should be used in pregnant only if necessary. It is strictly not recommended for use in lactating women and children below 18 years of age.

HOW SOLITEN 5MG WORKS
