Soihenz Tablet is a health supplement used to treat diabetic nephropathy, radiocontrast-induced nephropathy, paracetamol poisoning and prevent kidney damage (due to diabetes), and microalbuminuria. The supplement aids in renal function in dialysis patients and also helps to induce a significant decrease in homocysteine in dialysis patients. It contains acetylcysteine and taurine as active ingredients which help to reduce neuropathy associated with diabetes and prevent kidney damage associated with diabetes.

Acetylcysteine is an antioxidant which helps to increase glutathione synthesis in the liver which aids in removing toxic metabolites of acetaminophen (paracetamol) from the blood thus treating paracetamol poisoning. Taurine is an amino acid which aids in improving defective nerve functions and deficit nerve blood flow thus improving diabetic neuropathy.
