SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET is used to treat symptoms of enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET relieves the symptoms of BPH such as urinary frequency and urgency, painful/difficult urination, weak urine stream and incomplete emptying of the bladder. This medication helps improve urination in men by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. It belongs to a group of drugs called alpha-blockers. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET?
The dosage of SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Take SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET with food, or as directed by your doctor.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take SILOTRIF 8MG TABLET medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
