What SIBET 300MG is used for?

It is used as an,

  • symptomatic treatment for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, pain during menstrual bleeding (primary dysmenorrhoea) and other forms of mild to moderate pain

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have attacks of asthma, bronchospasm, acute rhinitis or cause nasal polyps, urticaria or angioneurotic edema
  • have crohn's disease or active ulcerative colitis
  • have severe heart failure
  • have severe renal dysfunction
  • have severely impaired hepatic function
  • have hemorrhagic diathesis and other coagulation disorders
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • Consult your doctor for advice before giving this medicine to your children and adolescents
  • Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • methotrexate (used to treat cancer)
  • lithium (used to treat the manic episodes)
  • acetylsalicylic acid (used to reduce fever)
  • anticoagulants, anti-thrombolytics and antiplatelet agents
  • ciclosporin, tacrolimus (used to prevent organ rejection)
  • corticosteroids (used to treat inflammation)
  • digoxin, diuretics (used to treat heart problems)
  • phenytoin (used to treat epilepsy)
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

If you take more SIBET 300MG

  • If you take too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or nearest hospital  

If you forget to take SIBET 300MG

  • If you forget to take a dose, simply take the next dose when it is due. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking SIBET 300MG

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

  • dyspepsia, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain
  • rash
  • fatigue or drowsiness, headache, dizziness, vertigo
  • thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, granulocytopenia, pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia or hemolytic anaemia
  • peripheral edema, hypertension or renal impairment
  • interstitial nephritis, nephrotic syndrome or renal failure
  • hepatitis and jaundice
  • gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding and ulcerative stomatitis
  • urticaria, pruritus, purpura (including allergic purpura), angioedema, rhinitis, bronchospasm
  • insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, visual disturbances, tinnitus
  • psychotic reaction, agitation, irritability, depression, confusion or disorientation, reversible toxic amblyopia, impaired hearing
  • erythema multiforme, epidermal necrolysis, systemic lupus erythematosus, alopecia, photosensitivity reactions
  • severe skin reactions like stevens-johnson syndrome, acute toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell-syndrome) and allergic vasculitis
