REXTAS DX SYRUP is used to relieve cough due to throat or bronchial irritation, sneezing and running nose caused by cold, dry cough, allergic cough, post-operative cough, smokers cough and night-time cough. It is also used to treat hay fever or upper respiratory allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose and throat. Contact your doctor before taking.
How REXTAS DX SYRUP work?
REXTAS DX SYRUP helps to treat cough, where Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine works by blocking the histamine H1 receptor and prevents the release of histamine (which normally produces symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes and runny nose) and Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by acting on the cough centre in the brain. Together relives cough effectively.
What are the possible side effects of taking REXTAS DX SYRUP?
The most common side effects of this medicine are sedation, somnolence, disturbance in attention, abnormal coordination, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, fatigue. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.

Take REXTAS DX SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your physician will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Yes. REXTAS DX SYRUP cause sleepiness. Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operate any machines while you are feeling sleepy. Do not consume alcohol, as it can aggravate your sleepiness. Contact your doctor if sleepiness did not improve.
