INTRODUCTION

REDIHEALTH TABLET is a combination of Cyanocobalamin, Folic acid and Sodium feredetate which belongs to the group of medicines called Haematinics. It is used for the treatment of anaemia caused by iron deficiency. Iron deficiency anaemia is when your body can't produce enough haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen), due to insufficient iron.

REDIHEALTH TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis or in patients receiving repeated blood transfusions or parenteral iron therapy. REDIHEALTH TABLET should be given to children only after consulting your doctor about it. Before taking REDIHEALTH TABLET, inform your doctor if you have hemolytic anaemia, iron-storage or iron-absorption diseases, gastrointestinal diseases or folate-dependent tumours.

REDIHEALTH TABLET should only be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women if your doctor believes it is necessary. The most common side effects of taking REDIHEALTH TABLET are hypersensitivity, mild diarrhoea, swollen stomach, gas, loss of appetite and nausea. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse.

USES OF REDIHEALTH TABLET

HOW REDIHEALTH TABLET WORKS

REDIHEALTH TABLET increases haemoglobin, where cyanocobalamin and folic acid are essential for the synthesis and repair of DNA and they act as cofactors in biological reactions, which are required to make fresh RBCs, prevent anaemia and for the regular working of the brain and nervous system. Sodium fedetate is an important component of haemoglobin and myoglobin (a pigment that stores oxygen in muscle).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take REDIHEALTH TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight and disease condition.
