What RARRITOL is used for?

It is used to treat:

  • Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis
  • Vasomotor rhinitis
  • Allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant allergens and foods
  • Angioedema
  • Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma
  • Cold urticaria
  • Dermatographism

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • Are allergic (hypersensitive) to Cyproheptadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • Have a history of bronchial asthma
  • Have intraocular pressure
  • Have hyperthyroidism
  • Have cardiovascular disease
  • Have hypertension
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • RARRITOL  is recommended in children. Consult your doctor before giving this medicine to your child

Tell your doctor if you are taking:

  • MAO inhibitors
  • Hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers, antianxiety agents
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Shake well before use

If you take more RARRITOL

  • If you take more of this medicine, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital

If you forget to take RARRITOL

  • If you forget to take a dose, take it after food as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
  •  Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose

If you stop taking RARRITOL

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

  • Trouble passing urine
