PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE is a combination of Duloxetine and Pregabalin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants and Anticonvulsants respectively. It is used to treat severe nerve pain (such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia) and fibromyalgia (severe muscle pain with tiredness, mood swings, sleepiness and memory loss).
Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have bleeding problems, mania, bipolar disorder, diabetes, glaucoma, constipation or a previous history of drug abuse as a precaution.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE as it may make you feel dizzier. Do not take PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Women of childbearing age must use a suitable contraceptive method to avoid pregnancy while undergoing therapy with PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE.
The most common side effects of taking PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE are sleepiness, dizziness, headache, mood changes, tremor, tingling or numbness, dry mouth, constipation, flatulence, feeling drunk, muscle cramps, sore throat, inability to reach orgasm, decreased sexual drive and weight loss. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.
You must also inform your doctor immediately if you experience worsening of depression along with suicidal thoughts or having severe muscle stiffness, shakiness, fever and/or chest pain as a precaution.

Take PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE can be taken with or without food.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE without consulting your doctor.
Stop taking PRIXAIN D 75/20 CAPSULE and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
