PRASULET 5MG TABLET contains Prasugrel which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiplatelet agents. It is used to treat and prevent blood clot formation in the body. It can also reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, angina (chest pain) and other circulatory problems among patients having heart block, stents in the heart or other heart-related complications.
Before taking PRASULET 5MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. It is strictly not recommended for use in patients with severe liver problems or bleeding problems (internal bleeding conditions).
PRASULET 5MG TABLET may make you bleed more easily even after minor cuts or injuries, and so be cautions while you perform even minor activities in your day-to-day life that involves risk of cuts or injuries (like shaving, playing, or handling sharp objects).
You must also inform your doctor if you recently met with any accident or have stomach ulcers, or scheduled for any upcoming surgeries as a precaution, as they could make you bleed more.

PRASULET 5MG TABLET is an antiplatelet medication. It prevents the clumping of platelets (a type of blood cells that causes blood clot) within the blood vessels. This reduces the chances of blood clot formation within the blood vessel and improves blood flow within them. As a result, it reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and angina.
Take PRASULET 5MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or without meals.
