What is PICON Cream used for?
PICON Cream is a topical cream used to treat mild-to-moderate eczema (atopic dermatitis). This medication is prescribed in people who have not responded well to other eczema medications. It belongs to a class of drugs known as topical calcineurin inhibitors. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take PICON Cream?
The dosage of PICON Cream prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label. The following dosage information includes the common dose of PICON Cream. If your dose is different, do not follow the dosage described below unless your physician has approved.
Apply a thin layer of PICON Cream cream onto the affected area of skin. Wash your hands after using the medicine.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to apply PICON Cream medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
Any medication used in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of PICON Cream, seek medical attention immediately.
What are the drugs that interact with PICON Cream?
It may be noted that drugs other than those listed above may also interact with PICON Cream.
