What is PERSOL 2.5% Gel used for?

PERSOL 2.5% Gel is an antibacterial gel used to treat mild-to-moderate acne. This medicine works by reducing the amount of bacteria that causes acne. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How to take PERSOL 2.5% Gel?

The dosage of PERSOL 2.5% Gel prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label. The following dosage information includes the common dose of PERSOL 2.5% Gel. If your dose is different, do not follow the dosage described below unless your physician has approved.

A small amount of PERSOL 2.5% Gel is usually applied one to three times daily onto the affected area. Wash the affected area before applying the medication.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to apply PERSOL 2.5% Gel medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
