PATH 15MG TABLET is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, particularly in those patients who are inadequately controlled with Metformin.

How does PATH 15MG TABLET work?

PATH 15MG TABLET belongs to the class of drugs called thiazolidinediones. This drug works by increasing the sensitivity of liver, fat and muscle cells to insulin. This lowers the glucose levels in the blood. PATH 15MG TABLET also works by reducing glucose production by the liver. 

How to take PATH 15MG TABLET?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take PATH 15MG TABLET as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the drug with or without food. However, taking the drug with food prevents stomach upset.
