What is PAMORELIN LA?

  • PAMORELIN LA contains Triptorelin which belongs to a group of medicines called gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists
  • It occurs naturally in your body which in men, it lowers the levels of the hormone testosterone and in women, it reduces oestrogen level

What PAMORELIN LA is used for?

It is used in men, women and children to treat completely different conditions

In men:

  • It is used to treat prostate cancer

In women:

  • It is used to treat Endometriosis a painful condition in which endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus, often in the pelvic area

In children:

  • It is used to treat Puberty that occurs at a very young age (Precocious Puberty)which is called ‘early puberty’

  • have an enlargement (benign tumor) of the pituitary gland
  • have back pain, weakness, numbness or tingling in your legs
  • have vaginal bleeding (for women)

  • hot flushes

  • pins and needles sensation in the legs
  • reduced libido and impotence
  • nausea, dry mouth, bruising
  • redness and swelling at injection site
  • muscle and bone pain, pain in the arms and legs
  • edema (build-up of fluid in the body tissues)
  • lower abdominal pain
  • high blood pressure, allergic reaction
  • increase in weight, dizziness, headache
  • depression and mood changes

Women:

  • headache
  • decreased libido
  • mood swings

  • breast disorder
