What ORCIBEST 10MG is used for?

It is used to,

  • relieve symptoms (such as breathlessness) associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and other lung conditions

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to Orciprenaline or any ingredients of this medicine
  • have abnormal heart rhythms associated with a racing heartbeat or any other heart problems
  • have hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy
  • suffer from high blood pressure
  • suffer from diabetes mellitus
  • have glaucoma
  • have overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism)
  • This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. If you become pregnant while taking this medication, contact your doctor immediately
  • It is not known if ORCIBEST 10MG passes into breast milk. If you are a breast-feeding mother and are taking this medication, it may affect your baby. Talk to your doctor about whether you should continue breast-feeding



Talk to your doctor before taking ORCIBEST 10MG and any of the following medicines such as:

  • aclinidium
  • amphetamines (e.g., dextroamphetamine, lisdexamfetamine)
  • anaesthetics (e.g., halothane)
  • antihistamines (e.g., cetirizine, doxylamine, diphenhydramine, hydroxyzine, loratadine)
  • antipsychotics (e.g., chlorpromazine, clozapine, haloperidol, olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone)
  • atomoxetine
  • anti-cholinergic agents such as atropine, belladonna, benztropine
  • other beta-2-agonists (e.g., salbutamol, formoterol, terbutaline)
  • beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol, metoprolol)
  • betahistine (used to treat vertigo)
  • long acting bronchodilators (e.g., formoterol, salmeterol)
  • cyclobenzaprine (used as muscle relaxant)
  • decongestant cold medications (e.g., phenylephrine, pseudoephedrine)
  • decongestant eye drops and nose sprays (e.g., naphazoline, oxymetazoline, xylometazoline)
  • disopyramide (anti arrhythmic)
  • dobutamine or dopamine
  • epinephrine or norepinephrine
  • loop diuretics (e.g., bumetanide, furosemide)
  • methylphenidate
  • monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs; e.g., moclobemide, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, tranylcypromine)
  • oxybutynin (used to treat overactive bladder)
  • theophyllines (e.g., oxtriphylline, theophylline)
  • thiazide diuretics (e.g., hydrochlorothiazide, indapamide, metolazone)
  • tricyclic antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline, desipramine, imipramine)
  • other medicines such as flavoxate, glycopyrrolate, ketotifen, linezolid, nabilone
  • Your doctor may recommend different doses, depending on circumstances such as body weight, other medical conditions and usage of other medications
  • It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor

If you take more ORCIBEST 10MG

  • If you take more ORCIBEST 10MG than you should, contact your doctor or nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take ORCIBEST 10MG

  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule
  • If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one

If you stop taking ORCIBEST 10MG

  • Do not stop taking this medicine before consulting your doctor
Very Rare

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • dizziness
  • fast or pounding heartbeats, nervousness, increased sweating
  • tremors
  • headache
  • dizziness
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • chest pain
  • signs of a serious allergic reaction (e.g., abdominal cramps, sudden difficulty swallowing or breathing, nausea and vomiting or swelling of the face and throat)
  • convulsions (seizures)
  • hives
  • increase in blood pressure
  • signs of low potassium levels in the blood (e.g., weakness, fatigue, muscle cramps, irregular heartbeat)
