NRT TZ TABLET is a combination of Norfloxacin and Tinidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Antiprotozoal agents respectively. It is used in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery of amoebic, bacterial or mixed origins.
Before taking NRT TZ TABLET inform your doctor if you have lung, liver or kidney disease or heart disorders.
NRT TZ TABLET is not recommended for patients with history of hypersensitivity reactions, tendinitis, or tendon rupture, organic neurological disorders and history of blood dyscrasia.
NRT TZ TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Contact your doctor before taking.
NRT TZ TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking.
NRT TZ TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients aged above 65 years especially patients with renal impairment. Contact your doctor before taking.
The most common side effects of this medicine are nausea, decreased appetite, headache, dizziness, fatigue, rash, abdominal pain and dyspepsia. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

Tinidazole belongs to nitroimidazole acts against parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Take this medicine as advised by your physician. Swallow this medicine as whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operate any machines while you are feeling dizzy. Do not consume alcohol, as it can aggravate your dizziness. Contact your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
